Community for Deeper Formation

Why Community Matters

We become fully ourselves in community.

Spiritual formation is a life long journey that is richer when we choose to walk it with others. In community, we are encouraged, challenged, and supported in noticing God’s invitations in our daily lifes. Together, we learn to pause together, discern more faithfully, and respond more faithfully.

Community is especially helpful for seeing what we may not have see on our own. Through the presence, questions, and prayers of others, we encounter perspectives beyond our own and become more attentive to the many ways God may be at work. Formation becomes something that unfolds among us as we experience the Holy Spirit together.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there i am with them.” Matthew 18:20

Group Spiritual Direction

Listen Together for God’s Voice

Group spiritual direction is a guided space where a small group of individuals come together to accompany each other on their respective spiritual journeys. Through prayer, honest sharing and holy listening, we help each other notice God’s presence in our everyday experiences and offer encouragement in responding to the invitations.

In group spiritual direction, we are companions in formation and not consultants. Anything shared in group spiritual direction is held in confidentiality in recognition of both the respect given to each person and the honest and open nature of people speaking from their own experience.

In this experience, each person is formed through their sharing and the sharing of others.

Prayer Seat

A Simple Practice. A Transformative Experience.

The Prayer Seat is a weekly Zoom-based digital formation space for practicing prayer in the quiet company of others. Come and go as your schedule allows, settle into a few moments of stillness, and give your attention to God.

There is nothing to prepare, no conversation required, and no expectation to interact. Simply enter, pause, pray, and notice God’s presence alongside others who have come to do the same.

A shared space. A quiet practice. A moment to notice God.
